FAQ
Is a coated sidewalk safe to walk on when icy? +
I can add a slip-resistant additive to the top coat, which helps, but no coating eliminates the need for normal winter ice management on a walkway.
Will it crack if the concrete underneath shifts? +
A flexible polyaspartic system handles minor movement better than rigid materials, but significant slab movement or settling should be addressed before coating — I'll flag that during assessment.
How long does a sidewalk take to coat? +
Most residential sidewalks and walkways are a same-day job, with cure time similar to other exterior polyaspartic applications.
